Overview

以下内容为一般信息,不能替代医生或专科医疗建议。

First Visit

What happens during the first appointment?

Your first visit begins with consultation and health history. Treatment options are explained before care begins, and your comfort is checked throughout.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows access to the relevant treatment area. Towels or draping are used to preserve privacy.

Treatment Experience

Does acupuncture hurt?

Most people describe acupuncture as gentle. You may notice a brief sensation at some points, and treatment can be adjusted to your comfort level.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your concern, history and response to care. Your practitioner will discuss a sensible plan after the first appointment.

Safety

Is acupuncture safe?

Acupuncture is generally considered safe when performed by a trained practitioner using sterile single-use needles. Your health history is reviewed before treatment.

Can acupuncture replace medical care?

No. Website information and acupuncture care do not replace diagnosis or treatment from your GP, specialist or emergency care provider.

Booking

Can I ask a question before booking?

Yes. You can call, text or send a message if you are unsure whether an initial consultation is suitable.

What if I need to cancel?

Please give as much notice as possible. The cancellation policy explains notice periods, late arrival and no-show information.
