Parkinson's: A Family's Journey of Hope

From a long search for answers to trusted, ongoing care.

Five years after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, my wife Q had received continuous treatments from leading hospitals across China. Despite travelling tens of thousands of kilometres in search of specialist care, her condition continued to decline.

After arriving in New Zealand, our daughter found Levi through the outstanding reviews shared by his patients. Following 3 months of personalised acupuncture and herbal medicine treatment, we have seen remarkable improvements. My wife has progressed from being completely dependent on others to walking independently at home, holding her head upright naturally, eating without assistance, thinking more clearly, sleeping peacefully, and enjoying a much better quality of life.

Because my work requires me to stand for long hours, I developed severe knee pain. I was diagnosed with a meniscus injury and osteoarthritis, and surgery was even recommended.

I'd like to share my remarkable two-year journey with Levi. Two years ago, just before my trip to Australia, I suddenly developed severe lower back pain, likely from frequently bending and lifting. It became so painful that I could hardly walk, and my doctor said I had a problem with my lumbar disc.

I found Levi, and after only a few treatments, my movement returned to normal and I was able to fly to Australia as planned. Two years later, after my family had already booked our trip to Japan, my back pain came back again. My family doctor seriously advised that I should not travel by plane in the near future.

Once again, I turned to Levi. After just two treatments, my pain improved enough for our Japan trip to go ahead. I am deeply grateful to Levi. Now, whenever my mother, my husband, or I have any pain, we always go to Levi.

Seven Years of Ongoing Support

After major spinal surgery in my seventies, I was left with ongoing back pain and metal screws in my spine. The pain often kept me awake at night and made everyday activities, even bending over, very difficult.

Since starting treatment with Levi seven years ago, his unique therapeutic massage and other natural therapies have provided lasting and consistent relief. After each session, I feel more relaxed, refreshed, and able to move more comfortably.

With his care, I now sleep much better, enjoy gardening again, and can stand comfortably for long periods while singing in my church choir. For the past seven years, I have continued to see Levi every week.
